Guest
Though ThaHoward is cool, I had to pay homage to cats, sorry. They do scratch, but bark is more offensive to me, plus I really like purring I've had only one, though, a European shorthair male (that's boring, I know), and it was long ago. I've been too lazy to sustain a cat ever since. On a side (and blatantly self-promotional) note: how accurately can you recognise a cat / dog owner in the crowd? ;) I wonder if narcissism is high amongst the cat chauvinists. They should test for that.
Sage Raven Domino
Heh, perhaps I'm so narcissistic that I can't even notice that I come off as a narcissistic. I'm sorry if it's the case. I have no idea about the prevalence of narcissism in cat fans, though.
Guest
Hm. There should be a "both" option. :P I like both, but I probably like dogs a bit more... because 1) They are easier to train to not eat other pets 2) They are less likely to hide under furniture and consider it a fun game to swat at your feet when you walk by with claws out

Flyaway4me
I'm a total cat person :P
Larkaloke
My experience of dogs is inevitably coloured by my terror of them, but even discounting that, I think I would prefer cats. They seem more likely to leave one alone most of the time, and less likely to knock one over. I can't really know how I'd feel about dogs if my initial instinct wasn't to run as far away as possible whenever I saw one, though.
Lady Girl
This poll is being locked and moved to the read only Census archive for it's respective year. As part of ongoing Census organization, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, the polls will last for one year from now on. However, members are allowed and even encouraged to re-start new polls similar to the archived ones if they like them. Lady Girl, Moderator
