Faelights
I don't think anyone's posted this on the forum yet, so here it is! Tip off by someone; you know who you are. XD I think it provides some pretty deep insight into what an aromantic asexual identity can mean for an individual.
Lintu
Wow, I can't read so well, but I read all of this x_x Thanks Fae for posting!
Prince of Tea
Ooooh, I read that article! I like it a lot. *nodnod* I definitely think it's true that society doesn't value aromantic relationships the same way it values romantic relationships- that comment about dismissing an aromantic partnership as "close friendship" really resonated with me. As someone aromantic who wants to pursue an aromantic relationship, I can tell you it definitely doesn't feel like "just" close friendship, although it isn't romantic. And the term "just friends" bothers me a lot- what's wrong with friendship? How is friendship less fulfilling than a relationship? /end slight rant But yesyes, good article!
