The 'Make a Big Song out of the First Line of the Song You Listened to Last/Are Listening to Currently' Game. This is going to fail so hard...

Okay, here's the plan.

I post the first line of the song I'm currently listening to, then the person after me posts that line and the first line of the song they're listening to/last listened to. Then the person after that posts the last two lines before that and the song they're listening to/last listened to.

Basically just quote the last post posted, remove the quotation tags, then whack the first line of the song you're currently listening to/last listened to on the end (but the next person to post will have to remove these instructions too). And we make a big song.

This is going to be the biggest failure in the history of medium-to-large failures.

I'll go first;

---

Six in the morning, don't want to wake
You see, [...] in order to prevent war in Europe, two superblocs developed: us, the French and the Russians on one side, and the Germans and Austro-Hungary on the other. The idea was to have two vast opposing armies, each acting as the other's deterrent. That way there could never be a war.

But, this is a sort of a war, isn't it, sir?

Yes, that's right. You see, there was a tiny flaw in the plan.

What was that, sir?

It was bollocks.

Six in the morning, don't want to wake up
Is it you again outside,

just because i feel like explaining... i've stopped using capital letters (in places where they're traditionally used) when i write because i came up with the theory one time while i was high that capitalisation is a form of oppression; that it's elitist and anti-equality. not because i'm stupid, illiterate, or lazy. sort of like e.e. cummings or k.d. lang.

Once I was the king of Spain

(Just out of curiosity - at what point do we stop and start a new song?)

(We never start a new song. Ever. Unless I say so. Or until we reach the max character count.)

You don't need a four year degree in modern poli-sci
PEAS? You don't HAVE peas with penne! Unless you push them up the penne tubes, but then that'd be weird!

...alright, put some peas on it ¬_¬

Emo is a genre of music that came from hardcore punk in the 80s in DC. NOT "I want to die". So stop using it like that, or I'll slap you.

Because of how unlikable you are. It says so here in your personnel file: Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned. 'Shall not be mourned.' That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted. So that's funny, too." Oh GLaDOS, I love you.

Roadrunner, roadrunner, going faster miles an hour
There's me looking down in my shoes
Don't let me hear you say life's taking you nowhere
Have your cake and eat it too
I like to move it, move it
When you came in the air went out
They offered me the office, offered me the shop
They see me mowing my front lawn.
Midnight to six man
Though I came up in it I'm not defined by it
Crying Shouldn't hurt, it won't take a minute
I sit down and think about the day that you're gonna die
Well, she got her daddy's car and she cruises to the hamburger stand now
Watch out, here I come
Now time for goodbye, he said
You don't need a four year degree in modern poli-sci
Well I've got a candle, and I've got a spoon.
My man don't treat me right
Free Love, What is it?
Underneath these stairs I hear the sneers and feel the glares of my cousin, my uncle and my aunt
"Being in love was like China: you knew it was there, and no doubt it was very interesting, and some people went there, but I never would. I'd spend all my life without ever going to China, but it wouldn't matter, because there was all the rest of the world to visit." -- Philip Pullman, The Amber Spyglass

Six in the morning, don't want to wake
Is it you again outside,
Now that I've lost everything to you
Once I was the king of Spain
Sometimes I watch you when you’re sleeping
Going out in the countryside,
the world is spinning too fast
Roadrunner, roadrunner, going faster miles an hour
There's me looking down in my shoes
Don't let me hear you say life's taking you nowhere
Have your cake and eat it too
I like to move it, move it
When you came in the air went out

The good life is what I need

(Cerebrum, my cousin would demand immediately that you marry me/her. I'll just give you :cake: )
