LONDON PRIDE PARADE 4th july

The parade it’s self I read starts of at Baker Street at 1pm and proceeds down Oxford Street and Regent Street taking in some of the major sites of London and calls round through Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square.
I don’t know the London area myself, but if anyone does who would like to attend could maybe help in organizing a handy meet up spot near baker street.
And another thing, when will an “A” be added to the LGBT?

(I feel guilty cause I told fd that a new thread about this might get lots more replies.)
Well, I'll be there. I might end up running around between different groups but I sometimes do that anyway.

Inicidentally there are two Costa coffees on Baker Street, a large one and a small one! I suggest the large one halfway down on the Western side, part of a block called 55 Baker Street, which includes a Canteen and a Fitness First gym.

I'm going with an asexy shirt (probably "Asexuals have other things on their mind") though she's given me a two day warning so it'll be rough.
Have fun everyone!

The parade was totally awesome! One of the most brilliant parts was FD's "Asexuals don't give a f***" T-shirt! (Not sure about the Aven rules on swear words, so I played it safe.) That got photographed sooooo many times, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that appearing all over the internet or even in news articles.
I think that at next year's Pride event in London we should definitely organize a much more obvious and visible asexual presence.
Btw there were a handful of Christian protesters there but the majority of Christians by far were on our side of the barricade. The parade was also picked up on by the usual suspects, e.g.

I can't tell you how honoured I was to be part of the "sewage tsunami sloshing down the streets of London"!
(Btw please don't bother going over to his channel to insult or try and reason with him - it's a total waste of time.)

(Normally it only hosts my Beast Wars website,
Indeed it was very good fun and I definitely would go next year. Maybe we can see about organizing our very own Asexy Float for 2010. How awesome would that be?

next year we definatly have to march. i'll try to come to london the same time next year. a float may be too much to begin with, but im sure we can get a banner sorted and a place in the parade - it is our time now!
