He was able to moderate without being biased or negligent or belligerent, he could debate controversial political topics without regurgitating inhaled opinions or falling back on thought terminating cliches, and he could play in AVEN D&D without forgetting the distinction between "in" and "out of" character or drowning the game in a rules and statistics quagmire or destroying a first time D.M.'s self-confidence. In short, he was the opposite of everything I resent and despise about this site. I miss him. [Edit: That is not to say that every other member of the site could be described by the list above, or that I "resent and despise" all things AVEN.
